This Tibetan Kila brass ceremonial dagger is awesome.

A kila (also known as a Phurba) is a ceremonial object with many uses. It is used in Tibetan ceremonies to mark the center of the universe. A Tibetan Buddhist monk puts the Kila into the ground and the ceremonies are performed around it. A kila is also used to ceremonially stir medicine and is believed to have immense powers. Kila are known to have existed in Shamanic Tibetan animalist beliefs before the arrival of Buddhism, but have become incorporated into Tibetan Buddhism.

This Kila measures 5" long and 1" wide and is made with solid brass. We collected this piece while traveling in Nepal.

An awesome piece of traditional Himalayan culture!
